Applications
for Maggie L. Walker Governor’s School will become available for current eighth-grade students on October 1, 2025. Students should see their school counselor to pick up application materials. Applications are due on December 1, 2025.
Who can apply?
Eighth grade students are eligible to apply if they meet the following criteria:
- Reside in Hanover County
- Eighth graders enrolled in Algebra 1 or higher and who have a B average are eligible to apply
