I'm Stephen Salvato, and I’m honored to join the Liberty community as your new principal.
Middle school is a unique stretch of time. Students are figuring out who they are, trying new things, and taking their first real steps toward independence. Our main job at Liberty is to give them a safe, solid foundation while they navigate all of that.
To keep our focus clear, we lean heavily on three basic expectations: be accountable, show respect, and keep our school safe. When students take ownership of those values, and when we celebrate the ones who step up to lead and motivate others, the learning takes care of itself.
A successful school year depends on a genuine connection between home and school. You know your kids better than anyone. Whether it’s a quick email check-in, a brief chat at an event, or a PTA meeting, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
My goal for this year is straightforward: to make Liberty a place where your student feels supported, challenged, and glad to be here every day.
